Percy Reginald Bowbeer

Regiment: 53rd (Welsh) Reconnaissance Regiment “C” Squadron

Percy landed in Normandy July 24th, 1944. Throughout his service he assisted in liberating towns and villages in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. He also entered Germany in February 1945. In his time in Germany, Percy would move on to cities such as Dusseldorf, Hamberg and Geldern. After VE day Percy would remain in Germany until he returned to the United Kingdom.
