Ken W. Hazlewood

Ken was 19 when he landed at Normandy. He had married six months earlier on 26th December 1943. She was 18 and they were together for 74 years until his death in March 2018.

Ken was part of the Middlesex Regiment and appeared on the casualty list for the period 13th to 28th July. He was wounded in the battle for Caen and was sent home. When he was better he finished his army time in Italy.
