Herbert Henry George Kemp (Harry)

Served in the 2nd battalion of the Gloucester regiment.

Harry was awarded 4 medals, including one from the French government that he wore on the right.

Harry landed on D Day 6th June on Gold Beach.  He was a radio operator and had only his radio and 2 grenades when the landing craft doors opened. Like many young men it was a battle to survive.
