Chairman
Paul, our current chairman who took over the position from his father Ken Turner a Normandy veteran some 5 years ago and sadly lost his father in Nov 2020.
Paul was previously the Social secretary and has carried that role on, in addition to being Chairman of the group. He has planned and delivered several trips and social events
over the years but now concentrates on maintaining the longevity of the group.

Minutes Secretary and Welfare Officer
Denise started as our Welfare Officer as a support for our Standard Bearer and Welfare Officer, Mr Ron Stevens. Ron became more unwell and in 2018 Denise took over as the sole and permanent Welfare Officer on the death of Ron Stevens. She has also, at the request of the late Mr Peter Creed, been the Minutes Secretary for many years. She fulfils both offices with thoroughness and skill and we all benefit from her work. Daughter of a Normandy veteran lost during the campaign.
Treasurer
Originally Jo joined the Normandy Veterans to support her husband Mr Peter Hodge who had worked tirelessly for the Veterans for many years. After sometime within the group she was elected Treasurer in 2016 and has held the post ever since. Jo Enjoys her work as Treasurer and friend to the Bristol Veteran
