Julian Cook

We are most grateful for the friendship and support of Julian.

Julian first contacted us back in September 2019 when we were fundraising for an information lectern in our Garden of Remembrance, that he was good enough to sponsor supporting this project.

Since then he has supported our Bristol Normandy Veterans group with help refurbishing as required.

When we were fund raising for a major project to raise thousands to have our own bench on the prestigious British Normandy Memorial in Ver Sur Mer (Gold Beach) Normandy, he immediately came forward to support us ensuring we get our bench.

He further supported our Pillar of Remembrance project, culminating in over 70 Normandy veterans being remembered in our Garden of Remembrance.

Julian, a gentleman of sorts seldom found today is a continuous supporter of our group, never forgetting our veterans and widows at Christmas as well.

As a result of the major and continuous support Julian has given The Bristol Normandy Veterans, we welcome Julian as an honorary member.
